Super exciting news! Together with two excellent faculty advisors and project PIs, I’m presenting an interactive session (an anti-panel? a dialogue?) on how to apply research findings to FLOSS communities. Academic and industrial researchers do a lot of work studying these communities, but the flow of value back into communities is hard. This session is one of many ways we’re working to address this challenge. We’ll be talking about how to find relevant research, how to apply it, and how to build better relationships between FLOSS communities and research communities.
